Floral Glutinous Rice is from Thailand. It is called glutinous in the sense of being glue-like or sticky. Glutinous rice can be cooked as discrete grains, or ground into flour and cooked as paste or gel. Sticky rice is used in many recipes throughout Southeast and East Asia. It is widely used during the Raya festive seasons as traditional food such as dodol, ketupat, lemang and tapai.
